Guide - Mehmet Uzan

Mehmet Ibrahim Uzan is a graduate of Robert College and The Istanbul University School of Economics and Political Science; he speaks five languages and has led travel excursions in the USA, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa since 1976 when he was designated a licensed tour guide by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism  of the Turkish government. His specialties include historical, archaeological, pilgrimage and study tours both in Turkey and abroad.  When he is not on the road with a new group of tourists, Mehmet can be found at home in Istanbul, stretching out on the couch and hibernating. He is an avid fan of the Turkish football team Fenerbahce and a Utah Jazz fan. He counts his most memorable travel experience as leading Turkish VIPs through Thailand. Mehmet's favorites in Turkey are Aphrodisias and Mardin but says the one thing that must not be missed when in Turkey is ...well... he'll tell you more about it when he welcomes you, to Istanbul!

Coordinator - jb3ll3

JB3ll3 has smiled and stumbled her way through a variety of foreign languages she does not speak in 411 cities in 14 countries.  She has shopped the sales in Paris, has ridden her bike from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, has sailed the Volga River into Moscow and yes, has tearfully fled the snake charmers on the streets of Mumbai. She counts travel as the only true hope understanding, considers her Bose noiseless headphones as irreplaceable, and has never had a foreign beer she did not like. JB3ll3 really loves Turkish food, Turkish mint tea, and Turkish Blue Eyes. She loves Turkey because it makes Italy look like Disneyland:  charming, really fun, but not real. When she's not roaming the world, JB3ll3 can be found at her home, Bellemaison, in The 'Kan EWA tending her roses and walking her dogs. JB3ll3 collects art, Hermes scarves and Starbucks mugs.
